THE Talisay City Council wants dangling and spaghetti wires in the city removed to prevent accidents.

The move was made following the death of a 20-year-old man who accidentally got caught on a dangling telephone wire while driving his motorcycle in Barangay Poblacion last week.

Councilor Antonio Bacaltos Jr. urged the council to send an invitation letter to the Visayan Electric Company and cable and telecommunications companies to attend their session next week so they could discuss plans and measures to solve the matter.
