MANILA -- The printing of official ballots to be used for the coming May automated elections will start on Sunday, January 31.

Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Gregorio Larrazabal reminded that only one ballot will be provided for each voter come election day.

The National Printing Office (NPO), tasked to print the ballots, will not be printing extra ballots for the December registrants.

On Thursday morning, Comelec has allowed journalists to enter the NPO premises where the 800,000 sample ballots to be used for voters' education are being printed.
