Vulcanizing shop worker shot dead

A VULCANIZING shop worker was shot dead by an unidentified assailant in Barangay Poblacion Ward 4, Minglanilla, Cebu at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, July 15.

Victim Zepilin Tangarorang Sequisabal, 34, succumbed to a gunshot wound in the head.

Investigation showed that Sequisabal, also known as "Pelin" and "Tambok" in the neighborhood, was working on a damaged rubber tire before the shooting happened.

The gunman arrived and shot Sequisabal thrice. The latter was hit in the forehead. The slug exited at the back of his head.

The culprit then fled. A team of police officers brought the victim to Minglanilla District Hospital, where the doctor declared him dead. (SunStar Cebu)
