YKMA Solidarity Run set

THE Youth Ministry Keepsafe Association Inc., (YMKA) is staging its first fun run dubbed as Solidarity Run, which is slated on Feb. 11 at the Cebu Business Park.

The run, which features the men’s and women’s 10-kilometer, 5K and 3K, is for the benefit of St. John The Baptist Catholic Parish in Tabuelan, northern Cebu.

“The YMKA has yearly activities like medical mission, feeding program and tree planting. This year, we want to help the local church in Tabuelan,” Dootie Escalano told reporters on a press conference yesterday.

Fr. Kipling Agravante, the parish priest of St. John The Baptist, said that the parish is currently on expansion which started in June last year.
