DTI to hold Galing Bataan Trade Fair

BALANGA CITY, Bataan -- The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) will hold the Galing Bataan Trade Fair at the Plaza Mayor de Balanga from April 4 to 9 in line with the 76th Araw ng Kagitingan.

“This aims to promote locally made products to tourists visiting Balanga City in celebration of Bataan Day,” DTI Bataan Business Development Division Chief Nora Reclusado said.

“Products that will be on sale include sweets, nuts, fruits, fish products, bags, and novelty items,” Reclusado added.

Other activities in Bataan in line with the 76th Araw ng Kagitingan include Freedom Trail, History Quiz, Parangal sa mga Beterano, Senior Citizens’ Night, Bataan Cooperatives and Entrepreneur’s Night, Foot Parade, Military Band, Parade of Floats, and Koro Bangkal Magbikin Concert.

The highlight will be on April 9, as President Rodrigo Duterte leads the commemoration at the Dambana ng Kagitingan in Mt. Samat, Pilar town.

Thousands of students, teachers, tourists, and visitors are expected to join the commemoration including officials from the embassies of the United States and Japan. (PR)
