ePLDT Inc., the country's leading enabler of digital solutions, has been awarded the Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Service Provider of the Year Award for Fiscal Year 2019.

ePLDT's strong commitment to outstanding service, generation of substantial revenue impact leading to a positive Year-over-year (YoY) business growth, and delivering impressive solutions with partners that create real value, have led to this award.

ePLDT was given this prestigious recognition for its alignment to HPE's vision of "Everything-as-a-Service."

Jovy Hernandez, ePLDT president and CEO and SVP and head for PLDT and Smart Enterprise Business Groups, said: "At ePLDT, we are committed to making a positive IMPACT on every single business. We are very much honored by these awards and they further compel us to keep to our promise of delivering global-class ICT solutions."

"Together with HPE, we have successfully innovated and co-innovated products and offers that have paved the way for many groundbreaking initiatives -- allowing us to continue building industry and domain expertise together," Hernandez added, detailing the nearly five-year partnership.

Among the services brought about by the partnership between ePLDT and HPE are: ePLDT Azure Stack, launched in October 2019, a hybrid cloud strategy that provides for the needs of modern-day enterprises; PLDT Enterprise Price Partner Pack for HPE Hybrid IT, launched in March 2020, which makes hybrid cloud a reality for one's business, fortified by ePLDT's Proactive Monitoring Service; and PLDT Enterprise Managed Server Hosting, officially launched in July 2020, which is an enhanced managed server hosting, aiming to pandemic-proof IT infrastructure as it aids customers in the new normal.

Tara Duenas, Partner Business Manager of HPE Philippines, cited that "ePLDT has been a successful used case in the Philippines as Service Provider. We look forward to expanding our portfolio together."
