A SUSTAINABLE and energy-efficient resort and entertainment complex will soon be established in Clark Freeport as Clark Development Corporation (CDC) recently signed a lease agreement with Isoc Holdings to develop a seven-hectare property within the zone.

The P6-billion investment project of Isoc Holdings is envisioned to usher in a harmonized recreational, entertainment, business and lifestyle complex, complete with hotels, offices, serviced condominiums and retail facilities among others.

During the signing, Aidea Design lead architect Ricardo Reyes said the project will be an environment-friendly development where they will incorporate the natural setting of the area in their design.

“What we envision for the project is a sustainable and energy efficient development plan. We don’t want to alter the environment drastically but we want to blend it with our design,” Reyes said.

Isoc Holdings chairman Michael Cosiquien said that the project will showcase their company’s thrust towards environmental sustainability.

“We see this project as a showpiece for ISOC’s very strong push towards environmental sustainability where we will maximize the natural attributes and resources of the property and incorporate them in the design, flow, construction and use of building and facilities,” Cosiquien said.

I-Land president Joseph Ramil Lombos added that their master plan for the said project will cater to the needs of every customer.

“As a master-planned complex, we made sure that every detail is geared towards every particular customer – the tourist, businessman, boss lady, families and kids, lovers of the outdoors and adventure-seekers, and just the average customer wanting to commune with nature and yet have access to every amenity,” Lombos said.

Meanwhile, CDC president and CEO Noel F. Manankil said the project will complement the various developments in the freeport.

“There is a growing demand for more lodging facilities and corresponding amenities within a carefully planned community that ushers in a new, unique and distinctive lifestyle. This undertaking augurs well in the overall development blueprint for Clark that would redound to a greater benefit for the region,” Manankil added. (PR)
