SM City Clark Cinemas reopen

Charlene A. Cayabyab

SM CITY Clark Cinemas has reopened on October 30, 2020, with enhanced safety measures for a much-missed fun movie-watching experience.

Conrad Peregrino, branch manager at SM City Clark Cinemas, said film enthusiasts can look forward to watching the much-awaited Break The Silence: The Movie, the latest film from global K-pop superstars BTS; as well as Train to Busan Peninsula; The Rental; and Unhinged.

Peregrino said safety procedures are strictly observed for a worry-free movie-going experience through its #SafeandFunMovieWatching campaign.

These safety procedures include all patrons wearing their face masks and face shields. A seat gap policy will also be enforced. There will be fewer screenings daily for mandatory intensive sanitation of the theaters and high-touch surfaces. Alcohol and sanitizer dispensers are mandatory within the cinema premises.

Peregrino said snacks need to be consumed before entering the cinemas.

Tickets are available at the cinema counters or online at www.smcinema.com. One could also download the SM Cinema app on their mobile phones.
