12,300 Fernandinos fully vaccinated

THE number of residents of the City of San Fernando who received their complete doses of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) vaccine has reached over 12,000.

On Tuesday, August 10, the City Information Office said 12,357 individuals from A1 to A4 priority groups were fully vaccinated.

The number is equivalent to 16.81 percent of the city's target population of 242,102, or the 70 percent of the total estimated population of 345,860.

Meanwhile, 18,364 Fernandinos from the same eligible categories have also received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

The city also reported that it still has 22,915 vials of different brands of vaccines that are set for administration to eligible residents.

Meanwhile, the City Government reminded anew Fernandinos to beware of fake news about the vaccination program that are being circulated via text messages or social media platforms.

It noted that all verified information, such as scheduling and other important announcements, are being posted at the City Information Office's official Facebook page.
