145,700 patients in Central Luzon beat Covid-19

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Despite the rising number of coronavirus disease cases (Covid-19) in Central Luzon, the number of patients who recover from the disease is also growing.

Based on the data released by Department of Health (DOH) Central Luzon on Monday, the number of Covid-19 recoveries in Central Luzon has reached 145,700.

This is equivalent to some 88.72 percent of the total confirmed Covid-19 cases in the region, which was 164,211, according to the report.

On Monday alone, DOH further reported some 3,455 fresh recoveries in the region, which was nearly double than the number of new cases reported on the same day or 1,903.

The agency also noted that the number of active Covid-19 cases in the region was 14,545 while the mortality was 3,899.
