246 new Covid-19 cases logged in Pampanga February 2

A TOTAL of 246 new cases were recorded in Pampanga on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, with the total number of active coronavirus infections down to 3,942 in the past weeks.

The Department of Health's (DOH) official coronavirus tracker places the total number of confirmed cases in Pampanga since the start of the pandemic to some 86,189 cases with 80,445 recoveries.

Coronavirus-related deaths in Pampanga have reached some 1,802 cases, according to the DOH.

Pampanga has reported some 4,053 coronavirus cases in the last 14 days, while Angeles City reported some 1,015 cases for the same period.

Some 47 people have died of the virus in the entire province in the last 14 days.

Majority of the 47 health facilities in the province have been experiencing a decrease in the number of bed occupancies.

The rate of occupancy in the region was at 26, a percent slightly lower than in previous days. This meant that 1,003 of the total 1,357 hospital beds in Pampanga were available.

Only one health facility is currently at a high risk level.

The province had no facility in the critical category.
