3 patients recover from Covid-19

THREE coronavirus disease (Covid-19) patients in Magalang town have recovered, the local government said.

Patient M98, M103 and M105, who are all male with ages 54, 19, and 28, had already tested negative for the virus.

The local government of Magalang has recorded a total of 121 coronavirus cases with 10 deaths, as of November 24, 2020. There are also 17 actives cases and a total of 91 recoveries.

The local government, under the leadership of Mayor Romy Pecson, urged residents to follow minimum health standards that were set by the Department of Health.

Pecson has appealed to continue practicing social distancing and the wearing of face covers to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, the mayor recently led the distribution of various products for a livelihood program, which benefitted parents and child laborers in the town.

Also present during the event were Public Employment and Services Office head Onofre Gonzales, Municipal Administrator Lyndon Cunanan, and BPLO Chief Ricardo David.
