SOME 30,000 beneficiaries will receive relief assistance from the Municipal Government of Bacolor as part of the Saup Pamilya program, said Mayor Eduardo Datu.

This, as Datu led a series of relief operations for Bacolor families since last week.

Datu said more families will receive relief assistance in the coming weeks to reach the 30,000 beneficiary target of the town.

Datu said families receive rice and goods from the Municipal Government in order to help them hurdle the financial burden of the ongoing pandemic and its quarantine restrictions that have posed serious effects on the livelihood of many families.

“This is part of our ongoing commitment to help Bacolor families in these trying times,” Datu said, adding that other social programs like vaccination, educational assistance for students, financial assistance for seniors and other programs are also being implemented by his administration.

The Municipal Government had allocated some P5 million for the Saup Pamilya Program alone.
