FOUR suspected carnappers were arrested in a two-day operation conducted by the Highway Patrol Group (HPG) in Central Luzon.

Colonel Bernard Marzal, Regional Highway Patrol Unit-Central Luzon regional commander, identified the suspects as Joseph Marquera of Bulacan; Arvie Flores and Marlon Cruz, both of Olongapo City; and Jason Solano, a resident of Zambales.

Marzal said Marquera was arrested by the Bulacan Highway Patrol Team by virtue of a warrant arrest for carnapping.

Flores and Cruz were nabbed for stealing a motorized tricycle in Barangay Baja-Bajac in Olongapo City.

Marzal said Solano was arrested in Tarlac while in his stolen Isuzu Elf.

He said appropriate charges will be filed in court against the arrested suspects.
