SOME 40 poor families from Barangay Madapdap in Mabalacat City received food packs from the police personnel of the Pampanga 2nd Police Mobile Force Company (PMFC).

The activity was led by Commander John Clark who directed the police personnel who delivered the relief to the homes of the said families.

Each family received 10 kilos of rice and assorted grocery items as support to the said families who are adversely affected economically with the ongoing enhanced community quarantine. The gesture was part of the “Rektang Bayanihan Adopt a Family Program.” The said families are among the low-income families in Pampanga being affected by the implementation of Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine.

“This also aims to encourage the spirit of cooperation and spirit of bayanihan among all members of society. The PNP is united with the community to overcome the challenges in confronting the Covid-19 pandemic,” Clark said.

“The “Adopt a Family Program” aims to provide the families with support and to ensure that families in the poor communities we serve, can also have hope during the crisis,” Clark added.
