SOME 52 villages in six towns of Pampanga's Fourth District have been flooded, as the Northeasterly Surface Windflow continued to affect much of Luzon as Severe Tropical Storm Pepito exits the Philippine area of responsibility.

An October 23 report of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) in Pampanga said that some 26 barangays in Masantol are currently flooded along with 19 barangays in Macabebe town.

Floodwaters have been measured to reach an average of one foot to two feet in certain areas.

Flooding has also been reported in Barangay San Sebastian, San Juan and Sta. Catalina in San Luis town due to the overflow of the Pampanga River.

Certain areas of Barangay San Agustin in Candaba town have also been flooded due to heavy rains in the upland areas near the barangay.

Barangays Paligui and Colgante in Apalit town and Barangay Santa Cruz in San Simon town also reported flooding in their respective areas.
