VICE Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda led the distribution of Christmas gifts to some 5,000 Aeta beneficiaries recently.

The vice governor went to Mabalacat City, Floridablanca and Porac towns for the distribution.

He was assisted by Board Member Fritzie David-Dizon, Lubao town Mayor Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab, Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo, Porac Vice-Mayor Dexter David, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) head Angie Blanco, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) chief Elizabeth Baybayan and other Sangguniang Bayan members from the city and two towns.

Pineda said it is part of their duty as government officials to connect with the people, especially indigenous constituents, and listen to their needs.

"To provide their needs, to reach out and prioritize them are the main responsibilities of the government," Vice-Governor Pineda added.

The vice governor also distributed Christmas gifts to more than 11,000 Kapampangans.

More than 300,000 beneficiaries all over the province have received Christmas gifts from the provincial government. (PR)
