THE coronavirus pandemic is not stopping the Department of Agriculture (DA)-Central Luzon from relentlessly delivering news and information related to agriculture and fisheries through its radio news program.

Together with RadioWorld Broadcasting Corporation, PhilRice, ATI and State Universities and Colleges, the DA's radio program "Harvest and Income in Agriculture" can be heard on RW 95.1 FM every Monday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

As a precaution, the DA decided to continue the program via online and it can be watched via Facebook live on the DA-Central Luzon’s Facebook page.

It consists of four segments: PhilRice On Air, Listen!; OUR School on Air, Listen, Study and Learn on Cellphone and Radio!; In Agriculture, You Are Famous!; at Ani at Kita Price Watch.

Radio hosts DJ Tyra, Jun Espiritu, Rica Salas and Enoch Fechalin, in a recent episode, noted the DA's participation in the celebration of "Farmers and Fisherfolk's Month" under Presidential Proclamation 33 implemented on May 21, 1989.
