Angeleños asked to practice discipline to prevent Covid

ANGELES City Mayor Carmelo "Pogi" Lazatin, Jr. has reiterated his appeal to his constituents regarding self-discipline to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

This, after the City Government recorded 96 new cases of Covid-19 on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

"Dapat po natin pairalin ang disiplina para hindi tayo mahawaan ng Covid-19 (virus)," Lazatin said.

The total number of active Covid-19 cases was at 1,448 as of Wednesday.

The City Health Office also reported three new Covid-19 deaths.

Total Covid-19 cases were at 10,843 and death related to Covid-19 at 445.

The mayor said 39 patients recovered recently, bringing the total number of recoveries to 8,950.

The City Government, under Lazatin's directive, is conducting a barangay vaccination program dubbed "Ronda Bakuna Sa Barangay."

A total of 178,895 residents received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccines.

Lazatin said some 113,053 individuals have been fully vaccinated.
