THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and municipal government of Apalit officially launched the Negosyo Center located at the municipal hall grounds in Barangay San Juan recently.

DTI Central Luzon Regional Director Judith Angeles and Mayor Peter Nucom led the ribbon-cutting of the newest government facility that will cater to micro, small and medium entrepreneurs in the town.

Angeles said that the Negosyo Center in Apalit was the 12th to be established by the DTI in Pampanga under the GoNegosyo Act which aims to provide quick assistance to MSMEs all over the country.

The Negosyo Center will provide various services to MSMEs such as business registration assistance, including the processing of business registration, and dissemination of business-related advisories and information, and advocacies, Angeles said.

Nucom, for his part, expressed gratitude to DTI for their sustained support to Apaliteño businessmen, especially MSMEs, which results to additional employment opportunities for the locals.

He also expressed hope that business and commerce will continue to grow, and that more MSMEs will be enticed to develop their businesses through the establishment of the Negosyo Center in town.
