AS PART of the City Of San Fernando’s 18th cityhood anniversary, business establishments, especially those which are tourism-related, are encouraged to participate in the “Kaganapan City-wide Mega Sale.”

The Sangguniang Panlungsod passed Resolution No. 2019-001 urging business establishments such as malls, hotels and restaurants to take part in the city-wide sale set from February 1 to 15 this year.

The said resolution authored by Committee on Tourism, Culture and the Arts Chairman Councilor Harvey Quiwa aims to “recognize the importance of the involvement of private sectors in the successful implementation of the city government’s programs and projects.”

“This has been an annual activity involving the business establishments operating across the city. Every year, we have been getting the warm support of our businessmen and investors, and we hope to have the same this year,” he said.

Quiwa also noted that the city government hopes to give Fernandinos another reason to celebrate during the cityhood anniversary through the conduct of the “Kaganapan City-wide Mega Sale.”

He also expressed hope that the activity will invite more tourists to come to the city and be part of the celebration of the capital city’s rich culture and heritage.

“This is also for Fernandinos to feel the essence of Kaganapan, which is to celebrate as one for the city’s accomplishments, and hopefully we could have tourists to visit and celebrate with us also,” he said.
