DESPITE having no public office yet, the humanitarian works of councilor aspirant Rene “RamJ” Maglanque Jr. of Candaba town, Pampanga have already been recognized by a private organization.

On Friday, May 6, 2022, the Saludo Excellence Awards announced that Maglanque is among the few volunteer-public servants who will be receiving recognition from the award-giving body.

Maglanque, who has been actively helping his hometown since the start of the pandemic, will be receiving the 2022 Saludo Excellence Awards for Humanitarian and Leadership Service.

Among the community service initiated by Maglanque since the start of the pandemic are the distribution of relief aid to Covid-19 victims, promotion of healthy lifestyle and sports development, assistance to indigent and sickly Candabeños, and lending of construction equipment to barangays.

Maglanque expressed gratitude to Saludo Excellence Awards for recognizing and appreciating his hard work and public service to the people of Candaba.

He also expressed hope that more Candabeños and Filipinos will be inspired and join the crusade for a more progressive and united community.

The Saludo Excellence Awards, which celebrates Filipino camaraderie and unity, will be holding its awarding ceremony this coming June 25 at the Resorts World Manila.
