Candaba mayor recovers from Covid-19

CANDABA Mayor Rene Maglanque has recovered for the second time from coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

Maglanque, who returned to office on Wednesday, January 19, presented a negative RT-PCR result dated January 18, 2022 to ensure the safety of his fellow government employees, constituents and visitors who will be in contact with him.

Prior to his return, Maglanque underwent and completed the recommended 14-day quarantine period.

In his first day of office again, Maglanque met with department heads and

village chairperson to update the Covid-19 situation and the guidelines being implemented.

The mayor also thanked all those who prayed for him and expressed well wishes as he survived his second infection of the viral disease.
