THE Provincial Government of Pampanga has designated the Diosdado P. Macapagal Memorial Provincial Hospital in Guagua town as pulmonary center to cater to the needs of Kapampangans with pulmonary ailments.

Governor Dennis Pineda said that Pampanga residents with pulmonary issues will be assisted starting Monday, March 23, 2020. This is to enable early detection and treatment of pulmonary ailments amid the growing spread of the corona virus.

“I urge those who have pulmonary problems to come here, to go out and seek medical help. Do not be afraid. The government is here to help you,” Pineda said.

He also appealed to well-to-do individuals to adopt a family and help provide them with the basic necessities.

Pineda encouraged private companies to help their workers through a “pay now, work later” scheme or devise other ways.

"These are very trying times but our unity and working together will help us get over this crisis," Pineda said.
