Central Luzon active Covid-19 cases now at 13,832

THE total number of coronavirus active cases in Central Luzon has reached 13,832, according to the April 21 bulletin of the Department of Health (DOH) in the region.

The DOH reported that for April 21 alone, 691 new active cases have been recorded.

The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases since the start of the pandemic has reached a total of 74,536, with 59,137 having since recovered.

Deaths from the virus have also increased to some 1,567 cases. For April 21 alone, 17 deaths have been recorded from all over the region.

The region’s fatality rate slightly increased to 2.10 percent.

Pampanga has the highest death rate at 2.84 percent with 400 deaths, excluding those coming from Angeles City.

Of the current 13,832 active cases, 20 are in critical condition, 54 are severe while 51 show moderate symptoms. Majority of the active cases show mild symptoms while only 54 are asymptomatic.
