Central Luzon Covid-19 cases now over 3,000

CENTRAL Luzon's coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases have reached 3,030, according to an August 10 bulletin of the Department of Health (DOH).

Of the cases, 1,689 are all in the province of Bulacan.

Aside from the most number of cases, Bulacan also has the highest number of deaths at 52 cases.

Bataan is second with 445 confirmed cases but only third in the number of deaths at 13 cases.

Pampanga is second in coronavirus mortality in the region, with 19 recorded deaths. Cases in Pampanga are now at 409, according to the DOH.

A significant rise in the number of cases was also recorded in several provinces like Zambales (94), Tarlac (108), and Nueva Ecija (208).

Aurora province remains without any report of coronavirus infection.

Of the 3,030 cases, 341 are still admitted in government hospitals while 1,332 have been discharged to complete home quarantine of 14 days.

The DOH in the region said 1,247 have already recovered.
