Central Luzon lists 1,153 Covid-19 cases, 77 deaths

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Seventy-seven people have died from the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Central Luzon, with at least 1, 153 people infected, according to the July 10, 2020 advisory of the Department of Health.

Of the 1, 153 cases, 138 are still admitted while 315 have already been discharged to undergo a 14-day quarantine. At least 623 people have already recovered from the disease.

Bulacan has the most number of cases with 539 positive cases, as of July 10. Thirty-five people have died in Bulacan alone because of Covid-19, while 212 have already recovered.

Bataan is second in terms of cases with 214 positive cases, 158 recoveries and ten deaths. Pampanga is still third in terms of the number of infections with 174 positive cases, 96 recoveries and 16 deaths. The Pampanga Information Office, however, reports 178 confirmed cases, 108 recoveries and 17 deaths, as of July 10.

Nueva Ecija province has 82 positive cases, 61 recoveries and three deaths. Tarlac has 49 cases, while Zamabales has 47 positive cases.

Only Aurora province remains Covid-free as of July 10.
