Central Luzon lists 18,619 Covid-19 cases with 619 fatalities

SIX hundred nineteen people have already succumbed to coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Central Luzon as the number of confirmed cases has reached 18,619.

The November 1 bulletin of the Department of Health (DOH) in the region showed that most of the recorded deaths were from Bulacan with 288 cases, followed by Pampanga (140), Bataan (68), Zambales (49), Nueva Ecija (41) and Tarlac (31).

Most of the confirmed cases are from Bulacan province with 8,284 cases.

Pampanga is nearing its 4,000 mark, as cases have now reached 3,968.

Bataan is the province with the third most number of cases at 2,769.

About 1,388 were also recorded in Zambales, while Nueva Ecija had recently breached its 1,000 mark with 1,067.

There are also 715 recorded cases in Tarlac province and another 75 cases in Aurora.

Of the 18,619, the DOH said 14,650 have already recovered while 3,350 patients are still considered active cases.
