Covid-19 recoveries in CL exceeds 200

THE number of patients who recovered from coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Central Luzon continues to rise, the data from the Department of Health Regional Office shows.

As of May 22, the confirmed recoveries have reached 206, or about 37.87 percent of the total 544 positive cases recorded in the region.

The number is expected to increase further as 117 patients were already discharged from hospital after recuperating from the symptoms of the disease and completing the required 14-day home quarantine period.

DOH-Central Luzon also reported that 117 from the total number of confirmed cases in the region are still admitted in various health facilities as they continue to battle with the dreaded virus.

Some 59 patients or about 10.85 percent of the confirmed cases have already succumbed to the disease, the regional health agency disclosed.
