DA preps budget plan for high value crop propagation

THE Department of Agriculture (DA)-Central Luzon hosted the FY (Fiscal Year) 2022-2023 Plan and Budget Proposal Preparation for High Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP) at the Green Mannor Hotel in the City of San Fernando in collaboration with the provinces of Central Luzon.

The said HVCDP Plan was attended by Regional Technical Director for Research, Regulatory, ILD and Admin and Finance Dr. Arthur D. Dayrit, Field Operations Division Chief Elma Mananes, Agricultural Program Coordinating Office of each province, and representatives from the Provincial Agriculture Office of Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales.

The purpose of the 2022-2023 Project Interventions Planning and Workshop is to ensure the smooth implementation of HVCDP projects in every province of Central Luzon and to further develop the production of High Value Crops Products in the country.

It can be recalled that HVCDP of Central Luzon clinched the second place as the top performer in the implementation of FY 2021 projects nationwide under the leadership of DA-Central Luzon High Value Crops Development Program Focal Person Engineer AB P. David.
