MARKETGOERS inside Clark Freeport Zone have expressed their relief after the relaunch of Department of Agriculture’s (DA) “Kadiwa on Wheels” in their area. The new venue of the farm fresh market is located at Bicentennial Park.

DA technical advisor Jerry Pelayo said that local farmers can still earn a living amid the pandemic through this initiative. The members of the project can sell their products and earn decently.

These rolling stores sell a wide variety of affordable meat, fish, poultry products, vegetables and fruits.

“The plan is to make this every M-W-F,” said Pelayo. “But let’s start by doing it every Mondays initially,” he added.

DA’s Kadiwa on Wheels starts from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. For safety, the market goers will be guided to observe social distancing. (Jay Pelayo/Contributor)
