Dagyaw brings Kapampangans into participatory governance

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Dagyaw 2019 was held here on Tuesday, July 2, bringing government agencies and stakeholders in a more personal meeting with government policy makers.

This regional town hall meeting participated in by different government agencies is the first of a series of 16 events across the country which aims to provide an avenue for a visible engagement between the government and its people.

Bearing the theme, "Bringing Government Closer to the Citizens", the event is organized in preparation for the fourth State of the Nation Address of President Rodrigo Duterte.

It aims to inform the public of the most recent accomplishments of the administration and the ongoing projects and programs of various government agencies for the Filipino people.

Present are key officials and representatives from the Presidential Communications Operations Office, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Agriculture, Department of Public Works and Highways, and Department of Budget and Management.
