Doctor, nurse ordered to explain alleged 'unjust treatment’ of patient

PROVINCIAL Administrator Atty. Charlie Chua had asked a doctor and nurse of the Escolastica Romero District Hospital (ERDH) to shed light on the alleged "unjust treatment" of a patient from Lubao town.

This came after one Trina Laus went on social media to complain about an alleged ill treatment of her three-year-old child inside ERDH. The mother alleged that due to the unfair treatment they received they had to transfer their patient to the Diosdado P. Macapagal Memorial Hospital (DPMMH) despite the child’s precarious condition.

Unlike the treatment they received at ERDH, the patient and the mother were received properly at DPMMH.

Chua had talked with mother regarding her complaint stressing that the Capitol will not stand idle if there are complaints about the services of its health personnel. He and Human Resources Management officer Amelia Bondoc had immediately asked the concerned health personnel to explain their sides.

Governor Dennis Pineda had promised to help in the medical needs of the said patient.
