Miss Candaba 2019 crowned

CANDABA -- The newest Miss Candaba has been crowned over the weekend to mark the conclusion of the month-long fiesta celebration of this town.

Donna Ruth Garcia of Barangay Paligue won this year's Miss Candaba title after besting 22 other candidates during the competition.

Garcia will officially be representing the municipality in the Mutya ning Kapampangan 2020, should she be able to fulfill all her duties until then.

Bagging the 1st runner-up is Roni Paula Villanueva of Barangay Pasig, 2nd runner-up is Almira Fae Gatbonton of Barangay Gulap, and 3rd runner-up is Mariella Capulong of Barangay Lanang, and 4th runner-up is Angelica Nicole Sombillo of Barangay Bambang.

Mayor Rene Maglanque extended his warmest congratulations to the winners as well as to the rest of candidates who stood proud in exemplifying the beauty of Candabeñas.

"Your success is the success of your barangay and of course, of our municipality as you will represent Candaba as you go to greater heights of competition in the coming year. And as you do, I am positive that you will embody the good qualities of Candabeños and be a role model to your fellow youth," he said.
