Former Minalin councilor makes comeback bid

AN ADVOCATE of good governance and reform, former councilor Rondon Mercado is running for a seat in the municipal council in Minalin.

Mercado filed his certificate of candidacy last Wednesday, October 17.

Mercado was accompanied by his wife Catherine Kabiling-Mercado and son at the Commission on Elections Minalin office headed by Election Officer Minette Dalinoc.

Mercado said that the people of Minalin are his inspiration for his comeback.

Despite not running last 2016, he never forgot his commitment to serve and continued helping his fellow Minalenos behind the limelight, he said.
