Gonzales provides rice to frontliners in 143 villages

THIRD District Representative Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales has ordered the distribution of 1,430 sacks of rice for the frontliners of the district in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga who are manning checkpoints and doing surveillance of the health status of residents.

Gonzales said that 143 barangays received 10 sacks of rice. Gonzales said that he is in coordination with local officials for on-going assistance in terms of supplies and logistics. He added that local government units must intensify the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine to stem the spread of the virus.

The congressman added that his district office in the city is entertaining request for medical assistances through its Facebook page.

Actual contact with district personnel has been suspended at the district office to prevent close contact.

Balas Bacolor Barangay Captain Amalia Pasion lauded Gonzales for the support given to local barangays stressing that frontliners need all the help they can get. She added that Gonzales had been very supportive of the need of frontliners who are working almost everyday to ensure that quarantine measures are observed.
