JENRA Foundation Inc. (JFI) ramped up its support to the Kapampangan Community.

Consistent with its staunch advocacy of being one with the community, JFI launched its Bayanihan sa Hapag Kainan, A Community Pantry Initiative from June 4 to 5.

True to its core value to serve the people, JFI highlighted the importance of establishing and sustaining a social community outreach in order to help more families during this difficult time.

This two-day community pantry aimed to extend assistance to the left most vulnerable by the pandemic — those who do not have the option to stay at home and those families who are greatly affected whose meals depend on the income they earn on the same day, if any at all.

Over 500 families from four barangays in Angeles City were given immediate assistance in the form of food donations.

Included in the list of the barangay recipients were Barangay Capaya, Barangay Marisol Bliss, Barangay Joaville, and Barangay Abacan. (PR)
