NO NEW cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) were reported in Mabalacat City, Pampanga on Saturday, February 19, 2022.

Like other places in Pampanga, the city recorded a steady decline in the number of coronavirus cases over the

past few days.

Mabalacat had 12 active Covid-19 cases left as of February 19, according to the local government.

A total of 8,777 residents had contracted the virus since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

Of the figure, the City Government said 237 patients died and 8,528 recovered.

Mayor Cris Garbo attributed the decline in the number of cases to the massive vaccination drive of the local

government.

The mayor said they had started inoculating kids ages 5 to 11 on Friday at SM City Clark.

Garbo appealed to his constituents to continue observing health protocols to prevent infection.
