MABALACAT CITY -- The local government's City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) has implemented new management schemes after it earned an ISO 9001:2015 international standard certification.

City Administrator and CPDO head Rosano Paquia assured an easy issuance of zoning and locational clearance to proposed residential and commercial buildings with the implementation of the Quality Management System under the international standard certification.

“We are committed to provide quality services and satisfy our customers and stakeholders,” Paquia said.

The ISO 9001:2015 requires entities to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and

applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

It also aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system.

The local CPDO was assessed by the Anglo Japanese American Registrars and registered under the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 last December 11, 2018.

The Mabalacat CPDO certification is valid until December 10, 2021, according to Paquia.
