DESPITE the ongoing coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic, the local government of Masantol is not losing its focus on ensuring the peace and order situation in town.

During his visit at the newly-constructed Pampanga 1st Police Mobile Force Company (PMFC) Patrol Base at the Golden Residence, Mayor Danilo Guintu instructed the uniformed personnel to strengthen the peace and order programs in the town.

“Alam natin na malaking responsibilidad ang binigay ng Covid-19 sa ating kapulisan at nagpapasalamat tayo na naitutuloy pa rin nila ang programa kontra kriminalidad at drugs,” he said.

In turn, Guintu vowed for the continuous support of the local government to the local police.

Aside from support to police programs, the local government is also funding infrastructure projects for the local police, such as for the construction of the perimeter fence of the PMFC Patrol Base.

“Ituloy-tuloy lang natin ang programa para sa kaayusan ng bayan ng Masantol at bawat Masantoleño,” Guintu said.
