TO FURTHER curb the spread of coronavirus disease (Covid-19), the local government of Candaba in Pampanga is implementing the "No Movement Sunday" measure.

The protocol, which is part of Mayor Rene Maglanque's Executive Order 11 S. 2021, limits the types of businesses that are allowed to operate during Sundays.

Only pharmacies, hospitals and medical clinics, funeral homes and other related activities are allowed to operate during Sundays while the EO is effective.

Maglanque said the measure will help limit the movement of people and the possible transmission of the virus.

Aside from the said measure, the EO also limits the operations of restaurants, cafe and other food establishments to delivery and take-out services only.

Supermarket, groceries and other establishments are also allowed to operate at 50 percent capacity until 8 p.m. only.
