Outstanding SSF cooperators recognized

BALANGA CITY, Bataan -- The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) recognized Tuesday, October 29, Shared Service Facilities (SSF) cooperators in the province for showcasing best performance on the responsibilities of managing the SSF projects.

Awardees were Balanga Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Multipurpose Cooperative (BARB MPC) as Most Productive SSF Cooperator, Alion Kapit-Bisig SEA-K Association as Most Receptive SSF Cooperator, Samaleño Organiko Producers Cooperative as Best in Greening Practices, Banawang Mamamayang Sagip Kalikasan as Most Innovative SSF Cooperator, and Mariveles Bag Maker Multipurpose Cooperative as Most Outstanding SSF Cooperator.

“We are giving these special awards to SSF cooperators for displaying their best practices so other cooperators will also follow their lead,” DTI Provincial Director Nelin Cabahug said during the SSF Provincial Assembly.

Winners vowed to sustain the SSF Project by utilizing their manpower and resources, and empowering the people in their respective communities.

“We are not expecting to receive this award so we are thankful to DTI because they have also helped us in establishing our noodle production,” BARB MPC chairperson Leonardo David said. (PIA-Central Luzon)
