P19.6-M Porac drainage structure completed

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO The Department of Public Works and Highways III (DPWH-3) has completed the construction and upgrading of drainage structure in Porac town.

The 1,065.91-lineal meter structure along the along the Porac Section of the Angeles-Porac-Floridablanca-Dinalupihan Road was implemented by DPWH-3 2nd District Engineering Office.

It has a funding of P19.6-million which includes the construction of a 127.60-meter concrete canal and the upgrading of a 938.31-meter section.

The new drainage system usws high-density polyethylene pipes which is known for flexibility, chemical stability, and high strength-to-density ratio, said District Engineer Gregorio Audea, Jr.

“The improvement of drainage structures will help prevent water stagnation in the carriageway thus ensuring the safety of motorists,” he added.
