Pampanga active Covid-19 cases jump to 110

ACTIVE Covid-19 cases in Pampanga have again significantly increased to 110 with additional 20 new infections recorded on June 24, Friday.

The Department of Health’s (DOH) official coronavirus tracker places that total number of confirmed cases in the Pampanga since the start of the pandemic to some 88,686 with 86, 720 recoveries.

Coronavirus-related deaths in Pampanga have not increased from the 1,856 recorded cases since last month, according to the DOH.

Pampanga has reported some 110 coronavirus cases in the last 14 days, while Angeles City reported another 40 for the same period.

No virus-related death was recorded in the last 14-days.

Majority of the 45 health facilities in the province are now experiencing slight increase in the number of bed occupancies.

The rate of occupancy in the region is currently at 2.5 percent, lower than previous weeks. This means that only 17 of the total 691 hospital beds in Pampanga devoted for coronavirus cases are currently occupied.

Some 39 health facilities in Pampanga are currently in the safe level despite the slight increase of cases.
