Pampanga records 24 Covid-19 cases

CASES of coronavirus disease in Pampanga have increased from 20 on April 3 to 24 on April 4 as two more cases were recorded in the City of San Fernando and two new cases in Santa Rita and Porac towns.

Two patients who tested positive for Covid-19 died.

Porac town now has three confirmed cases and one of the patients recovered while Santa Rita town has its first recorded case.

Pampanga’s third district has the most number of cases; Bacolor, one case; Mexico, one case; and the City of San Fernando, six cases.

In the fourth district, Candaba, Macabebe, and San Simon have two positive cases each with one recorded death in Apalit town.

Angeles City and Mabalacat City both recorded one positive case.

The Provincial Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (PESU) said that seven persons under investigation (PUIs) have died while 15 are still admitted in local hospitals in Pampanga.
