CITY OF SAN FERNANDO Pampanga Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office Chief Angie Blanco warned the public of fake Facebook accounts under her name used to dupe others.

In a statement posted on her official Facebook account, Blanco said an individual has been using her name on social media accounts for personal interest.

“I would like to publicly inform my friends here on Facebook and other social media platforms that my FB account has been compromised. An individual has been using my name for his/her personal interests,” she said.

Blanco said she is now in close coordination with the NBI Anti-Cyber crime division to address this and measures have been done to secure her account.

She reminded that she only has one official and exclusive Facebook account with her name Angie Blanco.

“If you have received suspicious messages from accounts under my name from 2021 until recent, please inform me through my personal phone number,” she added.

For any important concerns, Blanco asked concerned individuals to contact her through phone call or in person for good measure.

She also apologized to anyone who may have been affected or were victimized by the fake accounts.
