CLARK FREEPORT -- An artist from Porac town recently launched an exhibit that features inverted art images.

Rommel Uy Antonio started making inverted art images using a film negative.

From the naked eye, his drawings look plain and incomplete. But by using a mobile phone application, viewers can see fully-colored solid images.

Most of his artworks are various comic characters from the Marvel series.

Antonio is a 31-year-old teacher of Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) and Math at the Holy Family Academy in Angeles City.

His passion from making inverted images started in 2014. Antonio said he enjoys trying out different art forms and mediums such as charcoal, pastels, colored pencils and paper quilling.

Allan Dale Parungao, assistant mall manager at SMCK, said Antonio’s art exhibit is part of SM City Clark’s Creative project, which features works of exemplary Kapampangan artists every month.
