Power interruption to affect 6 Pampanga towns

MABALACAT CITY --- The 6-hour power interruption scheduled by the Pampanga Electric Cooperative (PELCO) II on May 17 will affect at least six towns in Pampanga.

In its official Facebook account, PELCO II stated that the towns that will experience power outages include Guagua, Bacolor, Santa Rita, Sasmuan, Porac and Lubao.outages

In Guagua, all barangays will be affected by the power interruption from 7 am to 1 pm, according to the electric coop management.

Two villages in Bacolor -- Calibutbut and Maliwalu -- will be spared from the brownout.

In Sasmuan town, many barangays will experiece service interruption except for Batang, Mabuanbuan, Malusac and Sebitanan.

Pelco II stated that Barangay Salu and Balubad in Porac town will also be affected by the power interruption.

Meanwhile, some parts of Lubao town, including San Roque, Santa Monica, Santo Tomas, San Matias, San Jose Apunan, Concepcion, and Santo Domingo, are also included in the lists of affected areas.

The PELCO II management is set to conduct preventive maintenance, and clearing of electrical lines, among others during the said period.
