THE Rotary Club (RC) of Angeles Skytown has lined up several projects, including livelihood and skills training for Aetas living at Villa Maria in Porac town.

RC Angeles Skytown, under the leadership of President Jay Bondoc, Aeta mothers will be taught massage therapy, bread making, basic online selling, marketing of products and goods, among others, according to Edna Eufemio, past president of the club.

"Our club, headed by President Jay Bondoc, has lined up training and livelihood projects for the Aeta community in Villa Maria, Porac starting with the Share-A-Meal kick-off project with some Aeta children," Eufemio said.

After organizing the meal program, Eufemio said the club realized that there is a need to help the community in terms of livelihood especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

"After organizing the Share a Meal project and our talks with Villa Maria Barangay Captain Manuel Valencia, we realized that the Aeta wives have been purely doing domestic work. They can use their extra time to provide for their families," she added.
