San Fernando logs 17 new Covid infections, active tally now at 134

THE City of San Fernando on July 18, 2022 logged 17 new Covid-19 infections, bringing the tally of active cases to 134.

In its daily Covid-19 update, the new cases were identified as coming from barangays Calulut (one), Del Rosario (three), Dolores (two), Maimpis (one), San Agustin (six), San Isidro (one), San Nicolas (two) and Sindalan (one).

The villages with two-digit actives are Del Rosario (10), Dolores (24) and San Agustin (16).

A total of 12 recoveries have been recorded from barangays Bulaon (one), Del Pilar (three),

Dolores (one), Lourdes (one), Maimpis (one), San Agustin (two), San Jose (one), Sindalan (one) and Sta. Lucia (one).

Two mortalities were logged from Barangay Calulut and Barangay San Isidro while two cases---one from Dolores and one from San Agustin, were deleted from the cases roster.

Due to the rising infections and "very high positivity rate" in Pampanga per Octa Research, the city government is urging Fernandinos to #StayAtHome if there are no important transactions or activities to be done outside and continue observing minimum health protocols especially wearing face masks and avoiding crowded areas.
